RELIGION 7A We are off to a great start. Our theme this year is Jesus the wind beneath my sails. My religion students all designed a sailboat showing how Jesus is the wind beneath their wings. These are on their lockers for all to see. Math 7^th A and B Did you see the 7^th graders watching the cars pass on the highway. They were collecting data for class. They saw more Fords and red cars than any other. Ask them what drivers were doing besides driving? The data was used to make graphs. They also planned Olympic events for the 3^rd and 6^th grades. They averaged the scores to find the winners.

Science 6A The sixth graders are learning about cells. We plan on viewing cells under the microscope. We are discussing the processes of Mitosis and Meiosis. They will be asking and looking for inherited traits in the family. Science 7^th A and B The focus this year is Life Science. We have begun the year my studying the skeleton. The student made up a song or jingle to help them learn the names of the bones.
