Welcome, Parents of students in my 6th and 7th grades classes.

 

In 6th grade Religion, reading, spelling, and English classes—and 7th grade spelling and English, all students are responsible to hand in all assignments on time.

  If an assignment is late or incomplete but handed in before 2:20 on the day assigned,70%is the grade.

Assignments not handed in on time will result in a zero

 

Seventh graders have a weekly spelling test every Wednesday; daily study is vital.

Sixth graders have a weekly spelling test every Thursday; daily memorization is key.

 Presently, 6th graders have begun their study on pp.465 Mechanics, and later this quarter we begin our grammar study of Nouns.

 

7th graders have a quick review of Mechanics, and begin a study of Adverbs – pg.403.  Memorizing notes and important information in the text is vital in order to succeed.

 

Daily study is necessary in spelling and English all year long.

 

Reading in  6B—AR points =18 points to be completed one week before the quarter ends.  Homework=at least 25 to 30 minutes AR reading time daily.
